Hi,

I was wondering for admissions chances if getting a 34 on the ACT CR would balance out a 680 CR on the SAT. The CR on SAT was by far my worst subset - math was 770 and writing was 800. ACT was 34R, 35M, 34E, 31S, 9 essay - Composite 33.

Thanks!

most colleges wont mix and match like that. Theyll use your ACT or SAT (whichevers higher) but they wont take like, your SAT Math, ACT Reading, and SAT Language.

your scores are pretty equal. either way, they’re both good and i don’t think colleges will care enough to want to compare the scores.

I have sim scores, SAT: CR 700, M 780, W 800 and a 35 on the ACT (35 on Reading as well). I sent ACT stuff to all my schools, and SAT stuff to places where the SAT II’s were recommended or required. I’d send the ACT everywhere, its up to you if you want to send the SATs everywhere too, they are both good.
