Hi! I’m a prospective student and was wondering if Penn allows students to use AP credits to fulfill certain major requirements. For example, I know that you can get credit in Math 104, Econ 001, and Econ 002 through the AP Calculus BC, microeconomics, and macroeconomics exams, but what would this mean for an economics major? Would the total course load for the major be reduced from 12 to 9 or would you have to use other classes to fulfill the 12 cu requirement? If so, what would those classes be? Thanks!
Actually, for econ, you do not get credit; you get a waiver for Econ 001 and 002, but no course credit.
