So I was accepted to UCLA but am worried that I may not have a 3.0 GPA this semester.

So can I still enroll in any self-paced classes, finish them quickly (by June 1 I assume) and use them to boost my GPA in case the classes I am currently taking turn out poorly to the point that my GPA for the semester falls below 3.0.

Also, do they have to be UC-transferrable courses?

Your help is greatly appreciated!!!

I believe the self-paced courses at De Anza are all non-transferable courses…

You don’t deserve UCLA you lazy ****.

Thanks for your advice jcohen! I appreciate it so dearly.

Story short: I didn’t think I would be accepted to UCLA for bio with a 3.5 GPA so I switched my major and stopped caring as much as I should have about the science courses I was taking.

So non-transferable courses won’t be included in my GPA I am guessing?

@Coolaid: Don’t listen to jcohen. No, non-transferable courses don’t count towards your GPA. Just try really hard to get that 3.0+. Ask your profs for extra credit projects or anything that you can do to pull up your grades. Tell them you really care about doing well in their classes and that got into UCLA and don’t want to be rescinded.

Thank you so much! I will do this! Hopefully it works out! :)

Hey, I hope it works out for you too! Hang in there. Fight as hard as you can if you must.
