<p>I was just wondering - if I was accepted to either Harvard or Yale, with their new financial aid policies and all, would I be able to then take their packages and try to have another ivy league school match it? I ask because there's an ivy that I really want to go to, but obviously it isn't close to being as financially feasible as H or Y. I've heard of this being done in the past but I was wondering what it would be like for this coming year with the new packages coming out? (I come from an upper mid class family, so I would be benefiting a lot from the new HY finaid).</p>

<p>You can ask for a review of your FA and mention that you got better packages elsewhere, they will likely ask for copies of the other offers. All you can do is try, just be polite and don't use the word negotiate. It would be helpful, but not necessary, if you had a recent change in your financial status that would be a reason for a reevaluation.</p>
