I'm using Gruber's Complete SAT Guide this whole summer to prepare for the October SAT, and I would like to know what is the best method of remembering his strategies for Math. It seems a little overwhelming trying to remember his strategies right about now. So how should I go about using his book; break up different strategies into days, focus on one strategy for a few days?

I cant say this worked for me yet. But the best way to use the strategies is to actually apply them. Again, I can’t say this worked for me. But I have seen the strategies in effect on some problems in the BB

■■■■. Just do all the practice sessions after studying the refresher session content so that you’ve learned the material. Make notes of things you think are useful if a certain “oh! that’s how you do it” took too long, and you want to remember how to do that kind of problem etc. Also make notes of things you don’t quite understand. Use it like you would the BB. Jeeeeeeeze.

bet it’s the same thing for the strats, but I’ll update you on that next saturday if I work a lot this week.

The writing sections are not that great. They are not customized or tailor made for the SAT. They are very GENERIC. The math WILL solidify your skills though. Reading is extraordinarily tough.

just do a little bit of gruber and found that the math was nice, but the critical reading was too easy and the writing section is so unlike the real SAT.
