Is it acceptable to use highschool awards in college? like say scholarships (Sam Walton, USA Funds, and like the scholarships that the university gave me) and some random awards like AP national scholar, scholastic gold key, being published, and things of that nature. Would this be ok to use when applying for internships and stuff? cuz basically I have nothing when i enter freshman year college. What do college freshman usually put in the "academic awards" page.

Also, how would you get someone to write a rec in college...especially freshman year when you don't know any teachers

Which academic awards page are you referring to?

It's definitely acceptable. I landed several internship offers at prominent firms this summer based mainly on the strength of my HS awards and my SAT scores. Keep AP national Scholar, ALL YOUR scholarships, scholastic gold key etc etc.

If you want, I can send you an email showing how something like that would look like.

I don't see why not. You don't have much stuff to write abot for college, so you're better off with the HS stuff. Once you're out of college, it becomes a grey area.
