<p>Hello, I seem to be in a bit of a predicament. I'll try keeping it short.
-second semester at CC
-School released application/booklet for about 20 scholarships
-everything's due today
-needed 2 letters of rec.
-emailed old teacher from high school who I'm still really close to, asked him if I could re-use a letter he wrote me a year ago, he of course says yes
-current professor agreed to write me a letter, said he can get it to me by monday or tuesday
-last day to turn late stuff in is Monday (was first told tuesday, but now they're saying Mon.)
-I've emailed my prof. asking if he could get it to me by Monday, a day earlier than what he said(I feel awful), no response, he usually never checks email
-He may not check his email until tuesday since it's the weekend, he has meetings on monday
-I have an old letter from a hs teacher in my email's inbox, written for schools rather than scholarships
-haven't spoken to this teacher since late 2011, should I email her asking if I can use it? Feels kinda weird asking b/c I haven't kept in touch with her after she switched schools my junior year
-only changes to the letter would be the date, and changing the focus of the letter(Basically change one sentence, it currently reads "Zyzzthetics would be a great addition to your institution", instead make it say "Zyzzthetics would be a great candidate for your scholarships".)
-downside is that it talks about my hs success and nothing about my first semester at a CC since it's old, I've done exceptionally well so far at my CC but that wouldn't be included in the letter (Unless I plan on bothering her and asking her to include that, although she may be busy and I don't feel like bothering her)
-she may not respond on time to my email also since it's the weekend, would it be wrong if I use it again without telling her? Most teachers seem to not care, she told me it'd be fine to use it for any school I'd apply to, but I'm using it for scholarships in this case
-if she responds and agrees to let me use it, my prof. would have written his letter for no reason
-I don't know what to do</p>
<p>I had looked at the booklet about a month ago. The scholarships listed did not list letters of recs. as requirements, but 3 days ago a group of people in charge of scholarships spoke to my class and told us that we needed letter of recs. (it was written in a small box on the first page, all of the people I had spoken to were unaware of this aswell). Of course I immediately went to my professors after that class.</p>
