Using same essay for two different applications to the same school

<p>HELP!!</p>

<p>My college counselor says she does not really think that there is a problem with submitting the same (with the exception of tweaks) essay to two different applications to the same school (ex. Admissions, then the school of my specific major). I need to submit two separate applications to the school and I need an essay for both. My counselor said that since the applications are reviewed separately, then it is okay to send the same essay. What do you guys think? It doesn't really sound like a good idea but I don't know what to do!! </p>

<p>Pretty sure your counselor is right. I’m thinking they have two separate admissions boards for the University and the specific school.</p>
