<p>I used my Chicago essay, but heavily modified. I was still talking about a picture, but not what it wanted. It took a while.</p>
<p>If at this point it's the only essay you have or the only one you feel is good, then go for it. Yeah, they may not like it, but I think people really overestimate how colleges will react to certain things. All in all, it's pretty late in the game. If you don't have an essay other than this that would fit, you don't have time to write a new one, so go for it.</p>

<p>actually I've written essays specifically for Columbia and looking back, they all seem lesser quality than the one i wrote for chicago, just by chance</p>
