using school to find a job; grad vs undergrad.

do Uni's put more emphasis on finding jobs for grad their undergrad students or grad students.

more specifically, would i have more resources as far as finding a job on wallstreet if i got a masters degree in Econ after college or if i apllied right from college. I'd be competing directly with undergrads for any position as a trader if i got a masters, obviously. i'd like to know if the school would place emphasis on me, the undergrads, or if it wouldnt make a difference.

what about for other situations as well? say.. law students or doctors or something vs undergrad. are they at a higher priority to get jobs for or does it not matter?

thanks!

Most top MBA programs have their own career services center that only help the MBA grads get jobs. If you're an undergrad, the career centers are serving more students in all types of majors, so they have to be more diverse but maybe not strong in any one particular area.

A big part of rankings for MBA programs concerns their abililty to help their graduates get jobs, so I think it is a much higher priority for MBA programs than undergrad programs.

and what about for masters degree that do not have their own school, such as economics?
