Using similar essay from Fly-In program for supplemental essay

For a fly-in program at a college I am applying to, I wrote up an essay on how I would succeed in their environment. Now, one of their supplemental essays has a very similar prompt on how I would contribute to their community. I would prefer to use this prompt as the other one is kind of confusing. Would it be okay to use my same essay and match it to the prompt a little better for this college or would that be frowned upon? If I choose this prompt, there is obviously going to be a lot of similarities because they are pretty similar prompts.

Just looking for advice before I write up this essay,
Thanks and God Bless

As long as you meet the requirement and answer the prompt, you can always expand on any ideas and it will be completely fine. Make sure to have a trusted adult read the prompt along with your essay and ask them about that, too. If you are proud of the work you have done so far, don’t just shoe horn in things to make it work for the new prompt. Make sure the entire essay flows with your new added ideas.

Also, some Fly ins once accepted, will allow you to use your Fly in essay in place of their supplemental. God bless you, too!
