<p>I'm a current '14 trying to use the Dartmouth alumni network to to get an internship for the summer. I made a a VOX ID and everything but it seems like all I can do is see the alumni's names. I can't see their profile or get their e-mail addresses. Anyway to go about this? Also, is cold-emailing alumni even helpful at all? Thanks.</p>
<p>Cold-emailing alumni is helpful yes. Probably even more helpful for a freshman, alums love you guys. You can’t get email addresses from VOX Online, but there is a link which allows you to email them. The reply, if there is one, will go to your alumni email account. You can then correspond normally via email.</p>
