<p>I used to have it done until I saw they used the same type of software, I just found the online “tax for dummies” type software easier on the eyes. It does have a “see form” tab where you can see where the info is going and you can do it by hand also if you want.
I like being able to save it online and print as needed.
If we had many assets, stocks, etc. I probably wouldn’t do it ourselves.
I actually had a misguided tax advisor tell me I could take books, etc. for my son (before we could) and other things I knew were wrong in regard to college. A great accountant is wonderful, but most people dont’ need to pay someone with simple tax forms.</p>
