haha i didn't know it went through.....didn't mean to post two threads asking the same thing.....

The must have book is First Aid for USMLE Step 1

My medical school has a comprehensive exam over the entire first year about 10 days after our final class exam, and our profs suggested using this book to prepare for that. It has a lot of really good information about the process of Step 1, a lot of high yield content, and perhaps more importantly a section that has reviews of all the various material out there.

Kaplan's QBank is highly rated, and studies show that people who do lots of practice questions on material they've recently covered have better retention rates.

How does USMLE fit into a combined program? When do you start your rotations and do you have to pass step 1 before you can do the rotations?

the only diff. in a combined program is the structure and timing during undergraduate, the med school cirriculum is the same........I'm pretty sure at Case's med school you can start your rotations regardless......
