USMMA's 2009 Recognition

Posted here for those who have not visited USMMA forum...we former plebe parents are oh so excited!

I know that Weski and I previously posted this link; however, many more PICS have been added. Special thanks to Jamz for getting his PICS posted before anyone else (with a little help from our very own Scarlet :) )

Congrats to the Class of 2009 and God bless them all :) :) :) :) :)

Congratulations to the new midshipmen and their families.

Looked like the new mids were "happier than a pig in slop". Or is that " a mid in mud"?

Congratulations to the newbees and plebes no more and to the parents that cheered them on!!! WOW!!!!!! BZ!!!!!!

Aspen, I love it..."a mid in mud"

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Oh my, CGA 4/c will be jealous :-) won't they Boss51?

They look so great in the photos. The mud is great!
We all can be proud of their hard work and dedication during the past 9 months! God Bless them ALL!

I guess they would be! Looks like lots of fun. I guess the closest we come to this would be "carry-on" which should happen in the next few weeks.

Is that their version of Herndon?

Sorta kinda Zap. ;) It looks more like 'Mids Gone Wild' to me. Sent my new Mid new Mid shoes because of the mud pit swallowing them. I am guessing that USMMA does their rendition a little earlier than other academies due to the tri-mester thing? They seem to be pretty jazzed that they can use their cell phones and buy food at the Mid store. And talk & walk I might add. LOL I'll have to kill a Mid if he slacks off cause he's got to pull 55 credit hours out of his you know what-ie by the end of this tri to end the year with.....
Worry.....Worry.....Worry..... Starts that chocolate drip.

Zaph,

Its more like Sea Trials than Herndon. Did they do Sea Trials when you were there? I heard Sea Trials is a more recent activity.
