USNA CC'ers

So I've been wondering how many current midshipmen are CC junkies like myself.

Post a reply. I just want to get an idea of the number. It seems like such an underground society... not too many people have heard of it.

I still get on occasionally and I know of another one (fiterace) who does sometimes too.

Over time, you will find that:

The questions are pretty similar from year to year. Parents seems to have a decent handle on answering these questions.

You get busy doing other things. Sort of like when you quit going back to you high school, you just move on.

Some people don't want to hear your answers to life on the yard as it is today. I haven't been on in a few months, but sometimes it seems that older alumni would rather tell you how it was rather than acknowledge how it is.

Mostly you just move on. I can understand why parents are here; I can understand whay applicants are here; I can even understand alumni/BGO who want to answer applicant questions. I got tired of seeing the political/"I am smarter than you"/"here is why you are wrong and I am right" types of discussions.

so . . . to answer your question. Jadler still posts from time to time. I haven't seen a post from a female mid that use to post from time to time. [Guess she got tired of arguing also.] There may have been one other "ol' timer" around here. Mostly, mids that post (and there aren't many) are plebes are new youngsters.

I would guess, and I can't count those who have only started w/in the past 6 - 9 months, there are fewer than 5 who post on CC from time to time.

I still post. I try to answer questions and state what the NA is like in today's time.
I hear Al is getting soft.
