My son has been scholastically and medically qualified, but we have never received any info on his CFA. I keep reading that kids have been triple qualified. We asked his BGO a long time ago and he says he gets no info. on that. Should he have received notification already on that? He as a Congressional nomination, but still no word from the Academy since last November. We're running a path in the grass to the mailbox. I spoke w/ the local USNA Parents Club Pres. who said he has heard kids getting acceptance as late as Memorial Day. I may have a nervous breakdown before that. By the way, his BGO is TOUGH, very unapproachable. We have been told by the Parent's Club it is his way. They don't like him either, so asking him questions makes both me, and my son very uncomfortable. Can anyone shed any light on the CFA qualification? Thanks.

If you don't get an answer try posting on the USNA forum: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/forumdisplay.php?f=89

I believe you should be able to see your status on the Candidate site. You should have a log-in for it. If for some reason he can't get on the site, call Admissions... But HE needs to call--not you! Good luck! Lots of folks are wearing out that path, too.

Thanks, but it does not give info on qualification regarding CFA on candidate site, only that it has been received.

Try calling the congressional office that gave you the nomination - they can call and get farther than you can. From the service academy's forum, many, many are still awaiting their letters. Try tooling around that forum and posting more there.
