I'm a homeschooled sophmore (be a junior this coming year) and I want to apply to the naval academy next year. I have some questions regarding what I can do to make my application stronger.

I take mostly online courses (through FLVS) and will also be doing college courses at my local community college next year. I also have not taken the SAT or ACT yet, but I plan to. I'm worried about the prilminary application. I've checked out its format, and for me, it would look a little empty since I have no class rank as a homeschooler and will only probably take the ACT. It does not ask for community, leadership, ec's, sports, or gpa. Will they understand since I'm homeschooled?

Also, I want to know what I can do for leadership, social, and extra curriculars as a homeschooler. Here is my basic information...

Academic-

GPA: 4.0, unweighted; 4.36, weighted (planning to get a higher weighted when I take college work)
National Honors Society
Escambia County Virtual Academy Chemistry student of the year award
(Do I need more academic awards)

Extra curriculars/Sports-

National Flight academy teen shadow board
2 years Varsity Volleyball at Private School in my area (will be lettered next year)
2010 East Hill award for Best Digger (volleyball)
300 volunteer hours at local elementary school in library and school productions
2010 student volunteer of the year
(Should I do more social work)

I'm also concerned with leadership.
Please, do I have a chance?
