I got a call this morning at around 10:40 AM

Congrats utsamagoots! That’s fantastic! :)

Thanks! Good luck to the rest of you too!

Congratulations, utsamagoots3! I see you attended camp last summer as well.

Just got my call today at 10:50. See ya at camp.

Congratulations roc! No call for my daughter (yet), but we’re not really expecting one. She knew she made too many mistakes for that. We’re still hoping for top 50, but have no idea when we’ll hear about that.

Last year, they announced that during the summer.

I believe High Honors and Honors are announced during summer.

What background are we going to need for camp? Are they going to expect us to know all of Carey’s Organic Chemistry?? (because much of the ochem on the national test is relatively basic)

Top 20 finalists, High Honors and Honors lists are out.

Can you share the link?
Thanks

Congrats to all those who did well. Maybe next year when I take it locally and move up the ranks, maybe I can go to the camp as well.

Here’s the list. Scroll down to the box at the bottom of the page.

My daughter is not among the top 150.
She will be disappointed, but I hope she tries again next year.

Congratulations to everyone who made it, and good luck to the top 20 finalists!

High Honors for my son which is great and actually the best possible outcome. His high school doesn’t finish until June 24th and he had no idea how he could miss 2 weeks of school if he got into camp.

Does High Honor really make some weight in top tier college application?

Yes, it definetley does, the top 50 in the country is an excellent accomplishment. I am sure honors is very good as well.

If you are in top 50 for USNCO, would you try next year for top 20? Or, would you do USABO instead? Or, you want to do USNCO + USABO + USAMO?

I would try every year, regardless of how well you do.

The last option is the best because it encompasses 3 tests (of course, getting to the final rounds of USABO/USNCO and qualifying for USAMO will be pretty tough)

utsamagoots3 made to ICHO! Congratulations!!! Good luck next week in Japan!!!

Thanks!!!

I’ll try to represent CC well lol
