usnews says that columbia's sat scores range from 1330-15something and columbia says they are 1370-15something (year 04-05) which one is more accurate?

The USNews uses 03-04 data, and Columbia always has the latest data from the previous years applicants.

Well, Columbia is somewhat deceptive in this regard. USNEWS doesn't include the engineering school because columbia doesnt want the astronomical acceptance rate to be seen. At the same time, these engineers are used for their school in the schools calculations.

it says 04-05 not 03-04, but for the college only columbia lists 1380 etc..

the website for Columbia uses what would amount to 05-06 figures (the incoming class of -09s) whereas the USNews figures for 04-05 are the figures for the '08 class)

for the class of 2008 columbia had 1370-15something

"The increasing selectivity at Columbia and Barnard is reflected in the newly admitted classes SAT scores. The middle 50 percent SAT for CC was 1380-1530, up 10 points from last year.."
