Hello... first off im not sure if this is the right area to put this in... but sorry in advance.
Anyway i was wondering if anyone had a full listing of the usnews graduate school rankings for the DPT (doctor of physical therapy) degree. If not that a link to the premium listing shown online. Thanks a bunch.

bump please

You don't give any indication of what part of the country you are looking for info in or your own info/status - are you now an undergrad??? and what is your major if so - so this will be a general response - sorry.

US News does not rank DPT programs - your best bet is to search the state references/professional organizations for these programs/info - many of which are very new - too new to rank by anyone at this point - or the individual programs themselves - it is a very competitive admissions process - that I can tell you.

FYI - there have been recent changes in the requirements for PT's entering grad school - make sure to check the state sites and individual grad programs for this info also.

Sorry - forgot - here are some things you may want to try searching on for more specific info..........good luck - some are specific to North Carolina - but will give you an idea at least.

American Physical Therapy Association
North Carolina Physical Therapy Association
NC Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy
Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission
North Carolina AHEC Program
APTA Sports Physical Therapy Section

Thank you to both of your for the help... the list is a good one btw. Just for a little more detail I am binghamton class of 07... i am full aware of the vast pre reqs... i have a 3.2 right now while majoring in biopsychology... internships will be lined up for the next three summers.... I am most interested in Columbia and NYU, and I am from westchester, ny. Currently in the pre-reqs I have an A in abnormal psyc, B in stats, B minus in the first half of biology, and an A in intro psyc.... i still have more than 75 percent of the reqs to do so this all may be very premature. As long as I have loads of observational hours, fine essays, and a 3.3 overall and in pre requs I should be competitive (sic) at those two school, no?
One more quick question... what is the general distinction between the dpt degree and a sports medicine degree... just formal md school admission proceses (mcat)? Thank you!
