I just wanted to express my deepest gratitude and thanks to USNSO. He's so awesome!

::so confused::

uuuummmmmm....ok

You've been on the boards for maybe a few days and you already have almost 150 posts? Talk about obsession...and a bit of an ego. Methinks you need to cool your jets and listen more than you talk. That's what I still do...because there are more than a few people on here who DO know what they're talking about.

filterrace87--Control yourself. It was a joke. If you want to make a thread that says "fiterace87 is Awesome!", I'm not going to complain. You have all of 0.4 posts a day. I'm trying to actually actively participate and learn everything I can. After I ask questions, read responses, read through old threads, and learn some stuff, I can actually talk intelligently and relay the information that I do know to new people. You give some, you take some, not just use this place just for your own personal benefit. I'm trying to actively pursue admissions while also giving everything that I can back. Try helping out every once in a while. Also try going for a walk on the beach. Get yourself to relax. In the meantime, please don't bring your crankiness here.

Usnso, a word of advice:

Tone it down or the upperclassmen will chew you up and spit you out if you get in. So will the senior enlisted if you follow that route.

Trust me.

This is not me in military mode. I have a completely different side to me. I'm not going to snap into my military mode every single time I log onto collegeconfidential.com. If I do happen to let off my guard and lose my military mode, I can only hope that I will be chewed up and spit out. It's all a learning experience. Then, I'll learn that whatever I said or whatever I did is not acceptable and it won't happen again. I'll do the same here. I guess jokes are completely unacceptable in a relaxed forum atmosphere.

<shrug></shrug>

I've warned you.

Yes. And thank you for that Sir Zaphod. :)

How's that ignore thing work again? ;)

usnso,
do you have a sister whose name starts with boston?

usnso: I'm not trying to start an argument, and most people on here know that I'm not a tool...but a general rule of thumb I use is this: assume an upperclassman or an officer or two at USNA lurks on these forums. If they somehow identify me this summer as fiterace87, would they view me in a favorable light as a midshipman and future officer? Spouting my mouth away is not my thing; 0.4 posts a day means absolutely nothing in this context. It just means that I respond to things that have not been responded to yet, filling in the voids where others have left off. If it doesn't need to be posted or if a good response is already given, I don't waste my time. Just my take...

I sure am glad I'm an alumni, then!

:D

Zaphod, you don't lurk, lol. You're the most outspoken one here, but of course you've BTDT--your information definitely has some substance (most of the time) ;)

i think usno i need to here more of the credentials that make me believe you having a ****ing clue what you're talking about before you let your mouth run away with you anymore. lol oh and sea cadets, or whatever you're an e-9 in, while a great organization, isn't quite cutting it.
