USNWR Ranking-CMC moves up two spots

I thought I would quote selected excerpts from an email sent by President Gann to the CMC community:

"U.S. News & World Report today released its 2012 edition of America's Best Colleges. Claremont McKenna College is ranked 9th overall among the nation's 266 liberal arts colleges surveyed. Within the rankings, CMC is 6th in Admission Selectivity; 4th in Graduation and Retention; and 8th in Faculty Resources. CMC's acceptance rate also was one of the lowest, at 17 percent. U.S. News also ranked national universities and liberal arts colleges based on high school guidance counselors' opinions. CMC was ranked fourth, alongside Middlebury, Pomona, Swarthmore, Vassar, Wellesley, and Williams colleges."

"In other recent rankings news, CMC was ranked 12th by Forbes on its 2012 list of America's Best Colleges and 4th on TrendTopper Media Buzz's Top 25 Colleges list for 2012."

"Claremont McKenna College was also among the top 10 colleges selected by The Princeton Review for its 2012 Financial Aid Honor Roll."
