Usual - advice about applying(international student)

I will apply as an international student. I expect to get about 28 at ACT, 700-770 SAT Math 1 and also take SAT U.S. History (although I have been learning it by myself for only 3 months). TOEFL about 90-100.

Not good, although I have 3.98 GPA and I’m in the top 5th - 1th of my school. I don’t have any choice of courses (only these college preparatory ones - those I take almost all), but I study at school with pretty high standarts . Should I explain why there are so low scores in the application?

As for activities I lead school drama club, play saxaphone, jog, swim, worked as volunteer (going to do do it again), worked as nanny for a while. I started to participate in those, but drama, in the 10th grade (11th is my final one). Don’t remember any honours (not so wide-spread in my country).

Can you give me any advice? I really want to study there.

Besides, could someone tell me more about Brown’s economics department?

Be confident. Brown will accept you if you get higher score

No, they might not. No guarantees. IMO telling people they are guaranteed to get in is setting up for disappointment.

I would say raise the test score and write good essays. Then hope for the best.
