usual length of teacher recommendation

<p>Is like 2/3 of a page too short? (this is for RSI, but same thing as college applications)</p>

<p>Im just wondering what the average length should be. I saw my rec as my teacher was putting it into an envelope and it seemed fairly short.</p>

<p>Is this the normal length for most college recs? (if you guys know or have seen your recs)</p>

<p>I've read that the lengths vary from very short to pages and pages, so I think you're fine. Actually, I think that the shorter the better, in general, but your teacher should have concrete information about you.</p>
