Hey all,

I am currently considering going into a special program in Wharton at Penn, but I don't know if my needed financial aid will come through or not. If not, I am thinking of attending UT or BU's business schools. Any thoughts on which school I should attend? I am planning to go into international business with a focus on the Japanese language and culture. Thanks!

Hey I'm in the same position as you, I was also accepted to both Huntsman and McCombs (BHP), I just sent my deposit into UT the other day - Penn gave me no financial aid whatsoever, while my parents had already paid tuition at UT through the TX Tomorrow program, and there is also a generous National Merit scholarship that pays nearly half of tuition. After talking to a bunch of people, Wharton students/alums and UT students/alums, I realized that the "Wharton advantage" probably isn't worth an extra $100k. Maybe for grad school. BU is a much worse business school than UT, and I think that you would have a much better time in Austin (better weather, more sun) but that's really just a personal preference.

Just as closure, I have enrolled at the University of Texas in BHP for the upcoming fall. It's a great choice and I can't wait to start my four years at UT! HOOK EM HORNS!!

Good choice and see you there. :)
