UT Architecture

Can someone tell me about UT's architecture program? It's usually ranked pretty high, but I know rankings aren't everything. What do they focus on? How are the dual degree programs? Also, how difficult is it to get into the UT School of Architecture? As an OOS applicant, do I have a shot at admission with a 3.9 unweighted/4.2 weighted GPA (my school doesn't rank), 2260 SAT, and okay ECs? Thanks!

The architecture school is among one of the hardest to get into. They only have around 80 new freshman a year, I think. This information is on the site in the prospective student FAQ. I think that you have a great shot of getting in, especially with the SAT score.

I dont know anything about the other dual degree programs but the arch engineering/architecture 6 year program is tough. It's definitely more focused on the engineering so if you're more of an artsy person and don't love math/science, I wouldn't go for it. The entire bachelors of architectural engineering is to be completed during the six year program and then you take the normal architecture design classes with it as well.
