<p>On their website, it says if you apply early for admission, you can apply for their scholarships, but it doesnt say what they are. Anybody have any info on this? And is it like, where if you have a cetain GPA and cetain test scores you automatically get a cetain amount of money?</p>

<p>the scholarship app is online - you can access it, after you start your online application at applytexas.org. One of the pages of the scholarship application lists many of the scholarships with links to the information about each of them. DS and I clicked on all of them and it looked like there was only one that he might even be eligible for... sigh.</p>

<p>I was lucky one semester and received a 100 dollar grant, so far that's been my best.</p>
<p>By the way, if you can get them to give you those Be-On-Time loans you have a pretty sweet deal. It's something like if you graduate on time your loan is forgiven, it just becomes a grant.</p>
<p>UT gives pretty good aid. Our family's income was less than 16k last year and I got to go to school freshman year for free. Now that my dad has a job it might be different next year.</p>
