UT Austin 2011/12 Transfer Guide

The deadline for applying for spring 2012 is October 1…right?

Best bet would be to look on the official website.

April is around. I’m getting anxious. 3.55 with 32ish credits? COLA? I’m pretty confident.

Good stats brah.

You already have those 32 hours under your belt, yeah Esteef? And they’re all transferable? Unless you threatened the admissions officer in your essay, you’re in man :)

Wait… we weren’t supposed to do that???

You really think I’m ok? I just have that doubt in the back of my mind. I did apply for Texas A&M and within 3-4 weeks of applying, I was accepted.

@Godric: I loled at that one

@Esteef: You shouldn’t worry about it too much. If you look at past threads, there aren’t many (if any) applicants with over a 3.4 getting denied. You’ll be fine!

Looking back at this thread from last year, http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-texas-austin/849854-official-fall-2010-transfer-thread-9.html</a> it looks like people started to find out in a steady stream after April 10th. Next week I expect to hear some good news! :)

This is going to be the longest week!

^you said it. I have been expecting an answer since march 1st!

can’t wait! :)

I hate the waiting! I’m confident I’ll get accepted to COLA ( 3.79 with 60 hours) but the waiting is killing me!!!

I have to admit, I check this thread more than my status update. lol
good luck everyone!!

Just an update that I received last week: UT Office of Admissions Twitter account stated that transfer applicants will be getting replies at the end of May.

@TexasG–I check the thread more as well. Haha.

Dang, I know I say this every time…but why in the world would they wait so long?! They’re just milking it and it’s not funny for us, we want to know as soon as possible! :(

@rgalvantx - I’m sure they mean they will have notified everyone by then.

@Esteef–that’s what I was thinking it probably meant. I have a b-day at the end of this month and am hoping for the best gift of all time–acceptance at UT!!
