<p>Never posted, but have been reading this forum for a few weeks now. I received lots of good information from this thread so just wanted to say thanks. I found out today I was accepted into COLA for Sociology. I’m extremely happy to say the least, and I think I’m going to try and attend the June 20th orientation, but we’ll see. Anyways, thanks again haha.</p>

<p>Do you think I’ll have any difficulty in changing my major (from international relations and globals studies to government) since they’re both apart of COLA ? IRGS was the first major I applied to (with gov being the second), but I think I’d rather do government instead. Should I try to work that out at orientation ?</p>
<p>Also, to help some of those still waiting on their decisions, here are my stats:</p>
<p>3.692 gpa (upward trend; 4.0 gpa this past spring semester)
31 transferable hours (out of 39 completed)
decent ECs, pretty good essays (imo) and 2 letters of rec </p>
<p>I found out on June 1. I had sent in my final transcript on May 26, so admissions recieved it on the 28th.</p>
<p>I logged in to that application status page today at around 4 and saw that it said they were still reviewing… then i refreshed and it changed to “Congratulations! You have been admitted to your first-choice major in the College Of Natural Sciences”

<p>I had 34 hours submitted. My GPA was a 3.47 and I got accepted to COLA for Sociology. My first choice was RTF in the comm. school, but oh well. I feel like I had pretty good essays attached, and each previous semester went up in GPA so maybe they saw a positive trend. Good luck though, hope you get accepted!</p>
