I think that’s about it, although I may have forgotten some things here and there… Thanks in advance!

UC Berkeley would probably be my pick if money weren’t the issue.

Which state are you in?

Berkeley won’t give you any money if you’re OOS. UT gives OOS tuition waivers to a very small number of top students. The odds still aren’t great but you have a shot.

Both schools are a match.

Do you have any significant fincnaial need or a budget?

@Jpgranier Thanks for the reply! :slight_smile:

I live in Delaware.

And no, I do not have any financial needs. My father reaaallly wants me to go to Berkeley so he has said he will pay my tuition regardless of whether the college has given me money or not.

So no budget? Have you applied to stanford or any other top tier CS schools?

Can you calculate your UC GPA? https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/

If you got a waiver at UT, UT would be a MUCH better pick, financially.

@Jpgranier
Yeah, no budget.

This is what I got (calculated using only 9th-11th grades):

Unweighted GPA: 4.00
Weighted GPA: 4.37
Weighted and Capped GPA: 4.15

I have not applied to any top tier schools, I think it would just be a waste of application fees since I doubt I have a decent chance at any

I think you have a great chance at some of the top tier schools such as Harvard and Penn. You should also check out Vanderbilt
