<p>I've applied and am very anxious for the decision.
I applied to Business 1st, Education 2nd, and then I heard you are also looked at for General Studies. Please any comments and chances are appreciated.</p>

-ACT: 30 (36 Math, 31 English)
-SAT:1950
-GPA - Weighted 4.99/5 Unweighted: 3.95/4
-Class Rank: Non Ranking (not top 10%)
-Only 2 B's my whole high school career (34 of 36 A's)
-3 AP's and 7 "Pre Aps" taken
-Attend very competitive High School in DFW with 3500 kids
-100+ community service hours
-Played Football and Basketball all 4 years
-NHS, DECA
-Many awards but mostly athletic awards
-Pretty solid but not outstanding resume
-2 good LOR's
-Very good essays (In my opinion)</p>

<p>Man I’m a very similar boat, traveling on equally rough seas right now. I just want this whole UT business to be over with. Good luck to you. I think you have a pretty good chance to get in to the school, but maybe not the business school. I applied to liberal arts.

SAT- 2040 (CR-750 M-630 W-660)
less EC than you, but still enough
in the 17 percentile
lots of AP classes, made A’s in all of them </p>

<p>I just fudged up my freshman and Sophomore years, hopefully admissions will see that.</p>
