Thank you I submitted it in early October – maybe Oct 5th?

Just got into CNS for Biology! Even though I was auto, I’m so excited! 35 ACT, 1/623, in-state.
Good luck to everybody still waiting and congrats to those who got in!
D (auto admit) got into neurosciences major, in CNS!
Accepted into the Government major in the College of Liberal Arts!!
Checked MyStatus this morning and was admitted into College of Natural Sciences for Mathematics! Still waiting on my plan II decision though
Anyone heard from Architecture?
does anyone think that hearing so quickly indicates an honors acceptance next week? im oos and i think its unusual for oos to hear back in november. the logic would be that you have to be admitted into the university before being admitted to honors. i applied for plan II and those decisions are supposed to start coming out next week
@Dartmouth_21 I think it means an Honors acceptance or that you were seriously considered for that program- could mean a deferral for programs that defer.
@gettingschooled thanks!
International candidate here. I applied to UT Austin for chemical engineering as first choice and petroleum engineering as second option. I haven’t received a decision yet, despite spying on October end… Does anyone here know about notification of decision for international candidates. While you are at it, chance me as well ACT: 33, CBSE 10CGPA, Predicted grades 97% good essays, good extracurriculars and 2 letters of recommendation from teachers who know me well.
International applicants can wait even past the middle of a February. Not all wait that long but they have been some of the last notifications to go out the last two years. UT only accepts something like 2 percent of its class from international applicants. It is very very tough. No way to chance that. Good luck!
Thanks for the advice
BTW any idea why their bar for ACT for international candidates so low. It’s only 28 or something
@jckid001 probably because they’re full-pay, UT focuses more on class rank anyway i believe
For those of you who have received an admissions decision, did y’all receive an email notifying you to look at your portal?
@ehsstudent17 Yes, I did. It said my portal had been updated sometime in the past 24 hours though, so I think if you just keep checking the portal you will see your acceptance before an email gets sent out.
Architecture anybody?
I got an email on the 18th saying I should check my portal, and I did. I was notified I got in, but not to honors. does that come out later or did I just not get in? also, I’m confused because I am not auto-admit.
What’s your major?
