To help current applicants and those in the future, when people post about money offered, it would be helpful to say if it is money from the Texas Advance scholarship fund, loans or other types of scholarships.
Is there a usual date UT releases decisions (based on years past)? I’m sure this question has been asked before. I’m an out of state applicant.
when can international students expect reply
@baedrillaurd I am going to guess that decisions are released this coming Friday. Last year it was Jan 21st. Good luck!
Oh… decisions for international also ?
@NotSoPatient do you mean all decisions will be out? Not like a batch but all?
@CathJR More than likely just a batch. The admissions website says all decisions will be out by March 1st. Typically colleges will eek out decisions little by little.
Mine still says “in review”, even though I most likely will not get in.
Mine too says in review.
best of luck guys. I am an international applicant. I have applied for Comp Sci. Hope I get in. I have really worked hard for this one. (SAT 1510/1600 and 4.0 Weighted GPA from India.)
@USUG21 which schools have you been accepted/rejected/deferred to?
I did a quick hunt online, and according to UT Admissions Guy on YouTube, decisions came out February 21st - I assume that to mean the final batch AKA everyone had their decisions by February 21st.
@GojiraHD @USUG21 are you guys in-state auto admits? Because I am and mine still says “You qualify for automatic admission to The University of Texas at Austin. We’re not sure about your major yet.”
Does anyone think outstanding performance in extracurricular activities could compensate for low ACT scores?
I am an international and my app says under review
@funyunz I’m OOS so I can’t say for sure, but I’ve read that even if you’re auto admit there is no guarantee you’ll get your major so your message would make sense. I think you’re supposed to hear what major you get along with everybody else.
