My D is out of state and was accepted to CNS on 12/16/16. We haven’t heard about honor’s yet though.
has anyone heard anything about a wave coming today?
Yes! D is auto admit but just got her major half an hour ago - Chemical Engineering.
@JAMCAFE —congrats! Did it show up only in the portal or did she also get an email notification?
Just got accepted into McCombs! Got an email 7 minutes ago! And before people ask, non-auto admit due to non-ranking school.
@JazzM1 are you in state or out of state?
In state
if there is an option for housing that has never been there and just showed up what does this mean
@carachel2 Thanks! The portal updated at 3:15 and she got an email at 3:45.
@collegecrazyperson the same thing just happened on my daughter’s page. curious. seems positive though
The statement “You are eligible to apply for on-campus housing.” sounds like an admission decision is on the way.
On my son’s dashboard on login there’s a new section for Fall Housing, which I am almost sure I didn’t see earlier. Admission section still says in review.
Does everyone see Housing before they get admitted?
Just got into CNS!!! So happy :)))
@collegecrazyperson what changed? It seems like my son’s changed also, but I’m not sure.
@WWWard my son’s says that bit about being eligible also. That seemed new.
@austingal YES - it is new… a new link for Housing… and when you click on it… it says “You are eligible to apply for on-campus housing.”
@austingal On the Dashboard, there’s a new section I see for Fall 2017 Housing, and when you click it, it says “You are eligible to apply for on-campus housing.”.
Yet, admission section says in review.
I believe all applied students have housing offered to them, I did too before I got accepted
@BreadedPrincess Do you see the acceptance on the main dashboard, or the Admission tab?
You are eligible to apply for housing when your application is complete. If there’s any chance you will attend UT and live on campus, I recommend that you go ahead and apply for housing ASAP. Your date of application is used for housing assignments. It’s a $50 nonrefundable application fee. I think it’s worth it to reserve your place in line.
His housing link was always there, but for some reason it looked different today. I should have paid more attention beforehand.
