when I click Review all the test scores the university has received for you. I didn’t see my sat subjective score is that a problem? or this section will only show your act and toefl score
Ut austin does not rake sat subject test into account
my friend who is also an international applicant from India got into UT austin with a score of 1530/1600 on sat yesterday
I’m from India with 1560 and i haven’t heard back…the process is completely random i guess
congrats @slightlymad ! My son is from China with SAT score of 1540/1600 without decision yet, What major do your friend apply for?
@yy05z12 my frnd applied to Comp Sci in College of Natural Sciences
@yy05z12 i have also applied to the same dept with a score of 1510 but my decision is not available at the moment
Even i applied to cs nat sci lol
@normanf in the Fall, S also noticed that his Subject Test scores (and AP’s) didn’t show up as received in the Portal, He called admissions and was told that section just shows you if you have sent in what is required and doesn’t have the ability to indicate supplementary materials like add’l tests. They confirmed his scores were in his record and despite prior posts, UT does holistic reviews and WILL (and do) consider these in their decisions. For peace of mind maybe call admissions and ask them to confirm your scores are received.
I was accepted into McCombs Friday and will post my stats for those it may help. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting, and congrats to those who have heard!

All the applicants who are not yet accepted and see the extra Housing Tab (vertical tab in addition to the Horizontal Tab), what happens when you click on the “start” or “check the status” for the housing application? I see “Welcome Longhorns” and “Student Home”, my name and next to “Classification” it says “First Time Freshman” Do ya’ll see that too? #desperateforsigns #stayingpositive
@glee No. Yours seems more encouraging. My D’s simply says… Housing Portal – Welcome to the UT Austin Housing Portal… and with links below that.
@WWWard @Glee
I wouldn’t look so heavily into that. Maybe its because Glee is an auto admit so it says that and @WWWard’s D is a non-auto admit.
I am unable to pay 50 dollar
@Glee I see it too. I did not get accepted to my major and I am an auto admit.
Most people hear in February, so don’t feel that just because you did not hear early you will get rejected from your major.
Thanks everyone. @TheAvidSeeker I’m not an auto admit and my admission still says it in review. But when I click on the housing application to start it, the housing page says “Welcome Longhorns” and "“First Time Freshman” and “Student Home” so it got my hopes high. It won’t help me if I don’t get my major
Can any one say if someone forgot to apply for honors programme then wht to do. Can any one apply now
@Glee where does it say that it is still in review?
@TheAvidSeeker in the admissions tab. I’m not admitted yet.
“Your application for admission is in review.
We have all the items we need to make your admission decision. As soon as your decision is made, it will be posted on this page and you’ll be notified by mail.”
In application status it says it is still in review
