@austingal I did but it went to my Spam folder. I’ve been receiving such emails from Universities that I didn’t even apply to. Hopefully this has nothing to do with CAP or our UT college App.
UTSA has been sending those emails out for months. I wouldn’t read into those.
@austingal I got that UTSA email today and was admitted to UT Computer Science back in December. I don’t think you need to worry about that.
@TheAvidSeeker which indications are you talking about? Sorry, I’m lost haha. It’s been a while and there has been a whole lot newer comments to sink mine
We have a slim to none chance of getting into the Nursing school, but just am anxious as this is the last school we will hear from!
@sean191297 seeing more tabs…that has nothing to do with being admitted.
@caseyl823 – I was trying to figure out a few weeks ago if all the nursing school releases were done at the same time? We know at least two who were admitted and the tweet they posted made it sound like the decisions had been made. Do you know if that is true? (we know of someone still waiting)
We haven’t heard of anyone getting in yet. All of my D’s friends who applied are still waiting! Hopefully they are not all done yet!
@caseyl823 --this is what the tweet said (she posted a screenshot of the admissions email she received)
“Congratulations on being admitted into the School of Nursing at The University of Texas at Austin for the Class of 2021. Our pool of freshman applicants was over 2,000; only 6% of applicants were offered admission.”
It’s a legit email. The wording sounds like they have at least made all of the decisions. Whether or not they have released them all is hard to know??!
@glee i am an in state resident
any chemistry majors waiting or been admitted yet?
carachel2- That does sound legit. Not looking good for us then! Congrats to her!
@caseyl123 --I don’t really know the girl that well but yeah, looks like it was crazy hard to get in this year. UT Austin has a fantastic nursing school.
In the end though, anyone who passes the NCLEX is an RN so aside from the experience of living in Austin, I’m not sure how much it all matters. Pay will be the same no matter what and I can assure you of that! Heck, the pay will be the same as an RN who went to jr. college and got an ADN!
From my experience last year I wouldn’t give up hope on getting acceptance letters from UT late, this school takes way too much time to send out all of the acceptance letters. Its honestly B.S.
For example last year I got my acceptance as a Bio major on February 19th!
Oh my god this wait is just so agonizing!!!
I wonder if there is any chance for a wave tomorrow?
The past 2 years the biggest wave with acceptances, denials, waitlisted, caped and everything else ( but not Internationals) was the 3rd week of this month on a Friday which will be next Friday the 17th. But it does seem like they are sending out acceptances here and there so there is a chance anyone could hear at anytime.
Just one week left, I’m shakin in my boots
I think a valid question is this: Has anyone been denied for admissions yet? If so, were you an in-state or OOS applicant?
