@teamaggie Being able to apply for housing does not mean you have been accepted to the university. UT is different in that respect from A&M.

If I have a 28 ACT and a 1360 SAT, amazing essays and rec letters and a solid but not amazing resume, and a really impressive UT related job Ive worked at for 2 years, would I have a shot at COLA? I chose to omit rank so idk what it’ll be.
I am OOS and i got accepted into neuroscience in January!
I’m in state non auto admit and I applied for neuroscience. I have a 33 ACT and a 2180 SAT and I’m in top 10% of my class. I also have 3 rec letters and a math 2 subject test with a 720. What do you guys think will happen? Sorry I’m just freaking out haha
Well if it makes you feel better I got accepted into neuroscience out of state and I had a 26 act, 4.26 GPA, and 3rd in my class… so I think my class rank got me in…
I’m just not sure what to expect haha
Oh and my GPA is 4.56
When I click on “my Documents” I noticed that each one of my 3 essays have a number “1” next to them. This number was not there before. Does any one else here see something like this?
I just checked S’ account and see the same thing. I would assume this is just a system-wide update?

My son has a 1 as well besides his essays.
Lol I genuinely love how the anxiety of college admissions can make us notice the smallest changes and make the smallest connections between the changes and chance of admissions. Only a few more days ahhhh
I have a 1 next to my essays as well. What does that mean?? I hope its not the score we got on our essays. I believe the admissions counselors rank our essays from 1-5.
Has everyone’s green check mark turned into the gray play button next to their “Your application for freshman admission is in review.”? I know once it started happening last year, results were posted soon afterwards.
If that’s the case I surely hope 1 being the best. Otherwise, ???
