That’s incorrect as well as this was submitted in November at the same time as the letters of recommendation and before the 12/1/16 deadline. (SAT scores were submitted on 12/23 with rush delivery to comply with the 12/31/16 deadline as they were his highest)

@TexasMom2017 Thanks for that. That may explain what’s happening on the website. But, the Freshman Application I listed above specifically states EE for his Freshman application. I helped him with every part of the process, so I know that he applied for CE and the website had denoted this before today. Maybe this all changed since they are ready to release their decisions and they merged the names?

Who know. I’m not getting my hopes up anyway as he has a mountain to climb as an OOS applicant for Cockrell.

Easy way to find out, call you students admission counselor. It’s an appropriate question for them.

When my OOS D received acceptance it was after 530 Central time. I had looked earlier in the day and it wasn’t there.

Last year they started in the evening around 5 or 5:30 central time, my daughter was accepted last year so I remember waiting all day.

@amottmers mind sharing your daughters stats? Or major? Just trying to figure out how I stack yp

@warrior101x her SAT was low, I don’t remember her GPA exactly but it was not lower then a 4.0. She was an auto admit in the top 5% of her class, did not send any rec. letters in (which I thought might hurt her) she was in ROTC all 4 years of high school very high ranking and that is where she did all her extra curricular’s in. She is now at freshmen at UT in CNS for Human Development and Family Sciences.
I now am waiting to hear if my son gets into UT (he attends an non ranking school), he is trying to get into their Engineering program.

i don’t know where y’all see 1’s when referring to the essays. can someone please specify? My Essay section is as followed “ESSAYS: bother we’re submitted on 11/22/17”

@mtreu20 it’s in the “my documents” section, should be in the top right corner

year before last, status changes occurred on the Thurs of this week at 1:30 CST.

@sean12197 - My son is not accepted and the link you posted let him into the course credit system at UT—definitely talking to admitted students. Does it mean anything?

What are my chances of getting in to UT? I’m pursuing a degree in business

I have also been accepted to Baylor University

@Skrunch my son has not been admitted yet and we just checked that link too, it let him in so hmmm it makes me think its a good thing but it might not mean anything. IDK

@Skrunch did it say something about an update and to click and agree? My son didn’t click anything just incase he shouldn’t, did your son click anything?

Checking now @amottmers

@amottmers - Changing my response. I see the “I agree” your kid is referring to. I did (and my son) not click it.

@Skrunch ok just making sure we saw the same thing.

@amottmers - I think to really know whether the link is “for real” son will have to click the “I agree” to see if his test scores are uploaded into the system. The suspense—we’re both sitting her debating whether to try it.

i clicked on it since it was just to agree to their policy change. this is the message I got:

You are not admitted for the coming semester. Because policies that award credit by exam are subject to change, you must wait until you have been admitted for the coming semester before you can petition to have credit reported to the registrar. Until then, you can view the scores UT Austin has received for you.

If you have been admitted for the coming semester and are still getting this message, please email CTL
