Got into architectural engineering yesterday!! In-state auto-admit: I have a 34 ACT, 1450 SAT, weighted 4.0 GPA, rank 23/562 (top 4%) at a fairly competitive high school, a lot of extracurriculars and leadership positions, and I started an architecture club at my school. Best of luck to everyone and hook em’!!
Congrats to those who are accepted! For those who still waiting for decision, please relax and be patient. Last year my D, ChemE 1st choice non-honor, only saw her status change to accepted in mid-Jan. Some of her school mates (top 3-5%) saw acceptance in mid-Feb.
My D was in-State, of a highly ranked 6A HS, top 1%, UW 4.0, SAT 1530. 14/15 APs (Scholar w Distinction). Tons of EC: UIL academic champion several times, UIL Choir Solo/Ensemble top rating 2/3 times, HOSA State qualifier 2 time, many clubs VP/Officer, tons of volunteer hrs for many clubs/hospital, member of many Honor societies, excellent teacher recommendation, etc. Best of luck to you all!

Son accepted to Electrical and Computer Engineering yesterday. Texas Resident auto admit. Applied in October. Still waiting to hear about Honors College. Stats 3.99 UW GPA rank 13/781. AP Scholar with distinction SAT 790M 780 RW total 1570. Math II 770 Physics 760 NMSF.
EC: H4H VP, Science Olympiad, President and founder FBLA school club.

My son was accepted into biomedical engineering last Friday as NON Auto-admit. Applied in October. Honors Application Status - Under Review. HS ranked 27th in the Nation. Stats 3.36 UW GPA / 4.18 WGPA. 13 AP’s Scholar with distinction, 35 ACT, 1540 SAT 800M 740 RW. Math II 790 Physics 710. Extracurricular activities include varsity/club swimming and water polo, piano and community service.

GPA - 3.93/4.70, top 4% in class
ACT - 36
SAT - 1540, subject SATs - Math 790, Chem - 770. All taken only once.
National AP scholar, 10 APs, 5 in 8 and 4 in 2.
National merit commended.
Good ECs with national awards and leadership position in one.
President’s gold and silver service awards.
Her honors application says under review.
