I was accepted into Cockrell for Chemical Engineering today. I applied Dec 1st and was notified Dec 13th. 780 math, 1500 Sat, National Merit, Student Council President, and Science National Honor Society President.

does UT reliably send an email to tell you your status has changed? or does a student need to obssessively keep checking the portal?
They do but it went to the wrong folder in my case yesterday.

Yes, the subject was “Please log in to your MyStatus.”
