UT Austin External Transfer for Fall 2014-Petroleum Engr

Hello, I'm going to be applying to UT for the Fall 2014 intending to major in Petroleum Engineering and minoring in Business. Nevertheless, for now, I'd like to attend UT as a petroleum engineering student. I currently am a freshman at UH downtown (NOT MAIN CAMPUS). And I have a 4.0 for the first semester which just ended a few days ago. I took 13 hours the first semester and I enrolled for classes for the spring semester and I wil be getting 14 hours from there. Which totals up to 27 hours, and I know I need 30 hours to be eligible to apply to UT as a transfer student. SO, this winter I will be attending a winter mini semester class at Wharton Junior college and getting 3 hours from English Comp II and getting that core class done.
I have already started on my application and my essays. I just needed you guys to chance my resume and let me know about by chances to getting into Cockrell Engineering School. Thank You guys so much and I really appreciate it. I'll be putting my resume down below.

Thank you so much for all your help, and my apologies for such a long message.

You pretty much need a 4.0. so make sure you get all A’s this semester. You have a lot of extra curricular stuff so that’s good. Make sure you have strong essays that set you apart from other people and really show your personality. I transferred into pge last year with a 3.95 but I am a veteran, otherwise i don’t think i would’ve made it.
They took 115 people that year and only like 16-20 of us were external transfers, the rest were fresh from high school or internal. And if you do get accepted, brace yourself! this school is insanely difficult.

@Jandress22

Thanks a lot for the reassurance, Sir. Yes, I’m sure engr is hard, but it’s definitely worth the hard work. I have another question for you, if you don’t mind. How many essays did you write? It’s required to do only 2, but there’s also an extra optional essay. So, how many essays did you do? And did you get any rec letters from your colleagues? If so, how many? I’m just trying to know my chances. I’m worried about my chances. Thank you very much for your feedback.

hello im also applying fot ut pge.as an external transfer ,(16-20 only, thats crazy) , i have 3.91 right now and will finished this spring with all my calcs ,physics and chems. i go to a cc . dont have that many ECs , i think my essays are pretty good and have recomendation letters from math chem and physic teacher , what do you all think? do i have any chance
