While applying to UT Austin, I gave McCombs School of Business as my first choice and Economics as my second. I dont have a problem studying Economics but McCombs would be the dream (even though my chances there are pretty slim). Since, I gave Econ as my second choice, if they dont select me for McCombs will they then give me a fair shot at the Economics department or since it was my second choice, I’ll be given less priority than the ones who picked Econ as their first choice?
