Hi. I am a current Junior in a very prestigious public high school in Texas. What are my chances for getting in the Jackson School of Geosciences?

GPA weighted: 4.12

GPA unweighted: I'm not entirely sure, but ~ 3.7

I took my SAT in January when I had the flu so I did pretty badly. I retook it this past Saturday, but the first time I got: CR:610 Math:610 Writing:580 Total:1800. I think I got at least a 1950 this past time with a significant increase in the math section.

I have a lot of extra curricular activities and am officers in many of them.
Class officer of the grade: 9th-11th (will be 12th too)
French Club President: 11th (and 12th)
NHS
Red Cross Club
I was also elected out of our school as the HOBY representative (It's a 3 day overnight leadership conference) out of our graduating class of 908.

I'm in the top 18% now, but hear me out: in order to be in the top 10% in our school you need to have never gotten a B and be in at least three 5.0 classes per semester. I am mainly an A student, but the few B's that I have gotten have held be back. My friend who got in the top 11% had only gotten 1 B and was in all advanced/AP classes. So my school's class rank is pretty elevated, unfortunately.

My AP classes:
AP Psych: 3
AP Chem: not taken (will get ~4)
AP Lang: not taken (will get ~4)
Next year I will take:
AP Comp Sci
AP Bio
AP Calculus AB
AP French

I really want to go to UT Austin! And I know that the Jackson School of Geosciences has a high acceptance rate and that a lot of people are going to apply to that school because of that, but I actually want to major in Geophysics!

What are my chances? Is there anything I can do to increase my chances? Thanks a lot!! :)
