<p>Does anyone know if applying to Honors Program at UT Austin hurts your chances of getting into the university itself? Like, if you apply for Honors, is it harder to get accepted into the school overall, or is it a separate thing, (say, you can get into UT but just not their Honors Program)</p>
<p>It’s a separate application you choose to submit or not submit , after you submit your regular application. Don’t worry , submitting to the honors college wont hurt your chances in getting to the non-honors college.</p>

<p>it should not affect chances because the group of people that reads honors and regular apps are different.</p>
