UT Austin Non-Automatc Admit Discussion Thread Class of 2023

thank you so much!

Has anyone gotten into liberal arts who’s a nonauto admit?

Has anyone heard about people getting accepted in the public relations program?

My son just got into McCombs tonight as a non-auto admit Texas resident.

My aunt works at UT and heard in a meeting regular admit decisions should be out Jan 19th… has anyone heard about nursing?

@texasgirl424 I know a few people that got into nursing tonight

Has anybody heard from Medical Laboratory Science???

@Wonder1678 My daughter got into COLA (psych) tonight! Non auto admit, 4.3 weighted, 1450 SAT, 32 ACT, 9 APs, varsity athlete, volunteer hours, peer mentor, summer jobs, other ECs. Good Luck! Hope you hear soon!

Any Moody PR?

@4mykids! I have not heard from moody PR either.

C/O 2023 Non auto admit to Jackson School of Geology Here.

Any non-auto Biochem majors gotten in yet?

@kdeeop my son was admitted to CNS biochem in early December. Not auto admit in state. There seemed to be quite a few of CNS in that wave.

@juststaycool What are your son’s stats? I’m also applying biochem non-auto-admit and have yet to receive an acceptance or rejection.

This might be too early to ask but has there been any regular decision people accepted?

My son has a new note on his portal that says although he submitted his high school transcript, it still needs to be reviewed by the Office of Admissions and he may need to resubmit if there is an issue. First action we’ve seen in a while. Has anyone received the same message? Wondering when he might hear back and if this means a decision soon. Congrats to all the newly admitted Longhorns! Hoping to join the club

@mgeek23 My daughters know a young man who applied Regular Decision and was admitted last week, but I do not recall the details (profile, college, major).

anyone willing to chance my DS?
