a friend of mine checked his status online a few weeks ago and it wouldnt allow him to go to the housing application because he wasnt admitted into a program. but now it allows him to go in.
is that a good sign? or does it not really matter.

<p>The day before my S was accepted to UT, he got a message indicating he should change his password on "Be A Longhorn". They recommend you change it to make it "more secure" after you're accepted. Maybe it's that sort of thing.</p>
<p>On the other hand, you never know when they're going to consider people who look for this kind of clue hacking and reject them out of hand like Harvard and all those other schools. ;)</p>
<p>Would they actually change your decision because you were just trying to check your online housing? Was the harvard flaw that obvious or did the person really have to try and hack in to find the decision?</p>
