<p>In addition to barrons points, by law UT-Austin is required to admit in-state students who graduated in the top 7% of their high school class. This leaves a very limited number of slots for OOS students (I think only about 9%). Rumor has it that the business school is more competitive to get into than some of the other programs.</p>
