DO you guys think that I can get in to ut and be a pre pharmacy sutdent??
OH yeah also, If i don't get accepted as a pre pharmacy student , do i also get rejected from UT Austin??

Please help...

If you go to HS in Texas and are in the top 10%, you are in automatically.

Pre-pharmacy is not a major but a sequence of courses that you to take before applying to the Pharmacy program.

You could major in anything as long as you complete the sequence of courses. But to optimize the courses that you take, apply to the College of Natural Sciences majoring in Biology, Chemistry, or undeclared. A lot of the pre-pharmacy courses are the same as the required courses for Biology and Chemistry majors.

Here's the URL to a UT website about pre-pharmacy.

Here's the URL to the degree checklist for a B.A, in Biology.

See the second page of the checklist.
