UT Austin- should I retake SAT?

<p>Hi I'm a senior in HS and will be going into either computer or mechanical engineering.
SAT 770 math, 650 CR, 690 writing.
ACT comp 30
Weighted gpa 4.76
Class rank 18/385
10 AP's by graduation
President of mu alpha theta senior year </p>

<p>I live in Florida. </p>

<p>I would like to go to university of Texas at Austin and want to know if you all think I should take SAT again to improve my chances of getting in and receiving any merit-based scholarships. While we're at it, what do you think my current chances are of receiving merit-based aid from UT?

<p>UT is a public U and has little merit aid for OOS students. Any merit aid available will be incredibly competitive.
